  • Large oboe of the Mijikenda-Giriama people of the coastal region of Kenya. . The bung'o oboe consists of three parts: a cylindrical bamboo tube with 3 fingerholes for pitch variation, a conical bell in wood; and double reed with pirouette. The large oboe is a solo instrument, used in the Sengenya dance, played during the short intervals and signalling the movement of the dances.
