Définition
- Wooden double bell of the Kongo-Vili people in the Kouilou region near the Atlantic coast in the Republic of the Congo. Geometrical decoration engraved and burned. Used by the Nganga, healer and spiritualist, the hourglass shaped double bell is liked to Nkisi cult worship and is used during songs and dances to treat the ill. It is also played during twin birth ceremonies
