- Three-string fiddle of Madhya Pradesh in India with a wooden soundbox; however, the kikirs in the FF database in M+ all have one string and a soundbox made from ceramic material (see description TUA-326); on the internet (see sources), the kingri is also said to have a resonator box made from unglazed pottery (New Grove)
