Concept information
Définition
- The yonggo is a barrel drum colorfully painted with dragons, and used in ""Daechwita"" music. "Daewhita" is a marching band music played for king's procession or military parade. It is similar to the gyobanggo but smaller. The metal tacks are embedded around the rim of both drum heads and the musician hangs it around his neck with the rope and thus strikes the drum from up to downward.
