Définition
- A type of drum played with both bare hands. It is in widespread use primarily in Mali and Guinea among the Maninka and Susu peoples, and also in neighbouring Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire and Burkina Faso; it is also perhaps the most popular African drum outside the African continent
