Definition
- Bow lute of the Teke people in Central Africa, the Congo's and Gabon. Five fibre strings are mounted almost perpendicular to a large sound box, on which geometrical decorations are engraved and burned. A buzzing effect is produced by metal jingles on the string-bearers
