Definition
- The sogonghu is the smallest harp-like instrument with thirteen strings. It has a bent soundbox and horizontal supporter to hold strings vertically. The sogonghu possessed in the National Gugak Center is the one master Ham Hwa-jin brought from Beijing in 1937. Ham as the director went to China to see and inspect the Chinese music, and bought the instrument.
