Definition
- The geum is a seven stringed zither. The body toward head side is wider while its tale side is narrow. There is no fret or bridge, but thirteen hwi which is made of mother of pearl and inlayed on the body. They mark and indicate fingering spots. With the seul, the geum was arranged for court event, rites, and banquets.
