Preferred term

532.1Voltage control sources - control voltage sequence generators   Link to MIMO collections

Definition

  • Continuously varying electrical signals are passed to a loudspeaker to produce sound. The electrical signals are generated using electronic circuitry. Configurations containing analogue fully electronic devices used to produce, process and communicate electronic sound signals and/or sequences of signals. The devices use voltage control sources. Voltages are controlled by an envelope generator, a low-frequency oscillator, sequencer, slew generator, peak amplitude follower, envelope follower, or sample and hold. (en)
